The Process Engineer III is responsible for driving operational improvements through the development and implementation of process optimization initiatives. This includes standardizing procedures, applying statistical methodologies, and leading cross-functional project teams to enhance manufacturing performance.

Additional Information:

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Travel Required: 5%

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.

Minimum Requirements: 
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher or at least four (4) years of work experience in engineering
  • Must have at least two (2) years of work experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility or in an operations environment
  • Must have at least three (3) years of work experience in engineering function 
  • Must have completed formal training in and/or have at least one (1) year of work experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc. 
  • Must have have at least one (1) year of work experience managing projects in engineering or operations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
  • Have at least four (4) years of work experience in engineering function 
  • Have Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.)

  • Identify improvement opportunities in existing manufacturing operations, justify procedural changes or process modifications, and establish operating procedures for the plant to attain lower manufacturing costs, increased productivity, and reduced cycle times
  • Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and assess processes
  • Develop routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
  • Create and maintain process documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Optimize processes to attain lower manufacturing costs, increased productivity, and reduced cycle times
  • Lead tactical site-level projects and contribute to regional and divisional projects
  • Identify, communicate, and overcome obstacles that may prohibit meeting production requirements
  • Lead and improve process procedures by partnering with operating employees in various departments to collect, analyze, and implement results via training or capital expenditure recommendations
  • Review and understand and apply safety standards and/or regulations to processes and projects
  • Prepare and support site audits
  • Manage multiple contractors and present successful projects
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment and control systems
  • Mechanical equipment installs & new equipment integration

  • Capital project planning, budgeting & execution

  • Financial forecasting for engineering initiatives
