We're seeking an enthusiastic Banquet Server who is passionate about hospitality and eager to create memorable experiences for our banquet guests. Apply today!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Assist with the set-up of tables, linens, chairs, etc. for banquet events.
  • Greet guests in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Answer questions about food, beverages and other restaurant/resort functions and services.
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in the point-of-sale system.
  • Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter.
  • Pre-bus tables between each course.
  • Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service while responding promptly and courteously to any requests.
  • If applicable, prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, and process through the POS system, thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
  • Clean banquet area during and after events, perform side work during each shift as assigned and maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas.
  • Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.

Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent education degree (GED) preferred but not required; less than one-year related experience; or acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand, walk, use hands, hear, talk and reach. The employee will seldom be required to stoop, kneel, taste and/or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The employee must be able to work at a fast past for extended periods of time in a high-pressure environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to wet, hot, humid conditions, chemicals or other solutions, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, and moderate to loud noise conditions.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules that reflect the business needs of the resort. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
