Job description

The County Line has been servin' up legendary award-winning, slow-smoked bar-b-q since 1975. We're famous for our big meaty ribs, extra lean brisket and spicy German sausage. But there's more than great food to enjoy at The County Line. Our spectacular views and roadhouse decor are as unique and legendary as the food we serve.

Server Job Responsibilities / Duties

  • Follow all policies and procedures
  • Complete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side work
  • On time and attends all shift meetings
  • Follow all health and alcohol beverage service standards
  • Greet and guide guest through our ordering and payment process
  • Take orders from guests for food and beverages following all steps of service guidelines
  • Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their visit and take action to correct any problems
  • Maintain a working knowledge of food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep time
  • Up selling by being proactive with suggestive selling and prompt service and alerting guests of specials, promotional items or events
  • Maintain a clean workspace, adhering to food safety sanitation and safety guidelines
  • Clear and sanitizing tables
  • Ensuring that all guests leave happy

 

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years minimum experience as a Server
  • Current Texas Food Handler and TABC Certifications are required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent guest relations skills
  • Great guests satisfaction expectations and focus
  • Must have good Transportation
