Job description

We are seeking a Data Scientist for a full-time position in Arlington, Virginia. This role focuses on developing and maintaining machine learning solutions using cloud-based data analytics platforms and modern data processing tools.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and maintain machine learning solutions
  • Build data science solutions using cloud data services
  • Design and implement ML models for complex analytical problems
  • Process and analyze large datasets using data processing languages
  • Document solutions and methodologies clearly and comprehensively
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate findings
Qualifications
  • Required
    • 5+ years of practical data science or data analytics experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related field
    • Proficiency in data processing languages: SQL, Python, or Scala
    • Experience developing machine learning models beyond logistic regression
    • Knowledge of cloud data analytics solutions
    • Experience with Azure infrastructure, specifically Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory
    • Experience using Databricks for machine learning algorithm development
    • Strong documentation skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong critical thinking and attention to detail
