Location. St. Paul, MN and Columbia, MD (Hybrid)
In this position, you'll be based in our St. Paul or Columbia office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. Find out more about our culture of flexible working.

This Procedure Writer role will collaborate with business and operations teams on the creation, editing, and publishing of procedures, reference materials, and policy documents. The Procedure Writer will develop a proficiency in using a content management application for tracking current and archived versions of official documentation per records management standards. Also, the Procedure Writer will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of high-quality customer service to support the content management program. This role will work closely with content owners and relevant internal stakeholders to ensure all controls are present, are actioned and reviewed to meet strict deadlines and service delivery levels. In addition, this Procedure Writer role will also review all documentation posted in the content management application on a routine basis to validate that it is current.

The Procedure Writer will be responsible for maintaining and developing Corporate Trust procedures. This position will collaborate with business and operations teams on the creation, editing, and publishing of procedures, reference materials, and policy documents. They will develop proficiency in using a content management tool for tracking current and archived versions of official documentation per records management standards. The role requires use of complex reasoning, critical decision-making and analysis, detailed evaluation, and judgment-based determinations related to Corporate Trust.
Some duties will include:
  • Participate in the establishment of documentation guidelines and conduct procedure audits to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Review regulatory changes or partner with regulatory change agents to proactively identify required updates.
  • Maintain document library or repository and update tables in appropriate systems
  • Review changes to business operations for potential impact to other documentation or resources.
  • Produce, edit, and enhance complex internal documents, ensuring consistency, clarity, and compliance with company standards.
  • Publish moderately complex web content in accordance to standards.
  • Interpreting technical information and translating it into user-friendly documentation.
  • Present recommendations for resolving moderately complex to complex problems and projects.
  • Assist others to resolve process gaps, providing input and suggestions based on observations.
  • Research, review and translate technical information to users.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Partner with subject matter professionals to understand business needs as it relates to procedures.

What will you bring to the role
Required:
Education/Experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent including 4+ years of working experience.
Writing Experience: 3+ years of Procedure Writing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Demonstrated skill in navigating and comprehending intricate business structures and operational functions.
Problem Solving & Critical Thinking. Ability to analyze technical challenges and present solutions effectively.
Experience with developing technical project artifacts, manuals, technical presentations, technical training materials, and web content.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred:
Corporate Trust or Financial Services experience strongly preferred.
Familiarity with industry-specific tools, software, and terminology to create precise documentation.
Ability to interpret and translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly documentation.
Experience with reviewing and editing content authored by others.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $36.54 - $38.95/hr. This base pay range is specific to St. Paul and Columbia and may not be applicable to other locations.
