What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a Warehousing Specialist  to join our Supply Chain Management  team in Laredo, TX.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization. 

What you will be doing:

Provides support to all DC facilities using extensive knowledge of SAP and Supply chain processes. Coordinates physical inventories; serves as a liaison between warehouse and internal and external customers. Provides on-site training and facilitates problem solving to all YNA operated facilities. Ensure shipments are executed by escalating any issue with internal contacts.

  • Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment requirements
  • Develop and conduct training as necessary
  • Promotes and performs process improvements
  • Purchases, reallocations and tracks fixed assets
  • Reviews processes, writes work instructions
  • Execute and analyze metrics, and compiles reports
  • Plans and manages special projects, Guides teams as necessary
  • Interacts with multiple facilities and various associate levels
  • Assists management in meeting corporate and departmental goals and objectives
  • Supports corporate policies and departmental policies
  • Supports EMS/ISO policies and procedures
  • Supports health and safety policies
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • System Hardware and Software used within the Distribution Centers including Bar Code Printers and Labels
  • Able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions
  • Knowledge and application of the following systems:
  • SAP
  • GQRS
