Youโ€™re on it โ€” diagnosing a steam irregularity, restoring pressure, and keeping the day on track. Compensation & schedule
  • Hourly pay: $38โ€“$48.47
  • Primary schedule: First shift; able to support other shifts when required
Your mission
  • Hunt down and resolve issues in plant plumbing and piping systems across boilers, compressed air, sump pumps, irrigation, and related utility lines
  • Install, service, and repair industrial piping and facility plumbing throughout the plant and grounds
  • Use strong pump theory knowledge to operate, troubleshoot, and overhaul pumps
  • Diagnose pneumatic system problems and return them to reliable operation
  • Thread and fit pipe in iron, steel, stainless steel, copper, and PVC
  • Build reliable joints with PRO Press
  • Weld (gas and arc) and solder; execute sanitary welds to certification standards
  • Read manuals and prints to identify and order the right parts and materials
  • Communicate instructions clearly โ€” both spoken and written โ€” and document your work
  • Complete preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to reduce downtime
  • Operate and maintain boiler systems
  • Operate and maintain refrigeration systems
  • Advance programs that protect food safety, reinforce food safety culture, preserve quality, and maintain spotless facilities
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber license (required)
  • Certified sanitary welder (preferred)
  • EPA Universal (preferred)
