Job description

Essential Duties
  • Prepare detailed and accurate mechanical and piping estimates for industrial and food/beverage facilities.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and other construction drawings.
  • Perform material takeoffs, labor estimates, and cost analysis.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure scope clarity.
  • Prepare comprehensive bid packages and participate in bid reviews.

Education & Training
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required

Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical piping estimating
  • Experience working on projects involving process piping, sanitary piping systems, plant utilities to include pneumatics, steam and condensate piping, hydronic piping, and other industrial plant construction
  • Proven experience estimating projects up to $10M
  • Strong understanding of industrial and food/beverage piping systems
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, P&IDs, and construction drawings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and Bluebeam
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
