Job description

Forklift Operator

The Forklift Operator is responsible for assembling customer orders and loading completed orders onto delivery trucks.

Reporting To: Location Manager

Key Activities:

  • Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.
  • Accurately and efficiently assemble customer orders for delivery or pick-up.
  • Completes any necessary paperwork associated with incoming/outgoing materials.
  • Load and unload materials to and from delivery trucks.
  • Process, document, and stock incoming materials from vendors, etc.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and team support.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, identifying and addressing potential safety concerns.
  • Operate forklift and other equipment according to specification and in alignment with designated safety standards.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Knowledge And Skills:

  • Able to safely operate a forklift and other equipment.
  • Strong process/procedure orientation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication/comprehension skills.
  • Strong team and customer service skills.
  • Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centered environment.
