Job Description

Our division, SGS MPR Services https://mprservices.com/ is currently seeking candidates for an Operator Trainee position. The Operator Trainee will assist on all dedicated projects from start to finish, complying with operating policies and procedures, and/or the policies and procedures of clients. This entry-level position provides hands-on experience and training to develop the skills required for safe and efficient operation of process equipment.

  • Assist during setup and tear down activities of process equipment.
  • Operating process equipment under the guidance of experienced operators.
  • Participate in on-the-job process training and lab analysis training, as required.
  • Troubleshoot minor operational issues with guidance, as learning moments
  • Maintain Safety qualifications
  • Miscellaneous additional tasks as directed
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Process Technology degree or one year of relevant experience (Preferred)
  • Valid driver's license (if required for on-site travel or operations).
  • Must be able to obtain TWIC card
  • Must have or able to obtain a passport
