Duties and Responsibilities:
Instruction & Teaching:
Teach a full load (typically 15 credit hours per semester or equivalent contact hours) in Process Technology and related disciplines
Deliver lecture and hands-on instruction in areas such as:
Process operations
Safety, health, and environmental practices
Instrumentation and control systems
Process equipment (pumps, valves, heat exchangers, distillation)
Utilize lab equipment, simulators, and industry-standard technologies
Develop and maintain course syllabi aligned with master course templates and learning outcomes
Incorporate active learning, competency-based instruction, and industry scenarios
Ensure compliance with SACSCOC, LCTCS, and institutional academic standards
Curriculum & Program Development:
Participate in curriculum design, revision, and alignment with industry needs
Support development of stackable credentials (CTC, CTS, TD, AAS)
Integrate industry-based credentials (IBCs) where applicable
Student Support & Engagement:
Provide academic advising and mentoring to students

Direct experience in petrochemical, refining, manufacturing, or process operations environment.
