Job description

Solidus Resources is a U.S.-based gold development company backed by Waterton Mining. The company is focused on advancing the Spring Valley Gold Project in Pershing County, Nevada, and specializes in taking high potential gold assets through late-stage development and into production. Solidus applies a technically rigorous, capital-disciplined approach to mine development, with a strong emphasis on environmental stewardship, operational safety, and community engagement.

The Spring Valley Gold Project is located in the prolific Humboldt Range, an area with approximately 60 million ounces of gold endowment within a 50-mile radius. Envisioned as a long-life, low-cost open-pit, heap-leach operation, Spring Valley has a robust resource base and considerable exploration upside along a 7-mile strike length across the Black Ridge fault zone.

With a leadership team experienced in engineering, permitting, and large-scale project execution, Solidus Resources is advancing Spring Valley through feasibility, permitting, and construction, with a clear path toward operational readiness. The companyโ€™s goal is to responsibly unlock the value of U.S.-based gold assets while building a reputation for excellence in project delivery and sustainable development.
This position is located on-site at our mine in Lovelock, NV.

Position Overview

The Process Operations Superintendent will establish and lead crusher, conveying, heap leach and heap-building activities for a new gold processing operation. As part of the process leadership team, this role will recruit and develop the operations and technical teams while supporting safe, reliable and cost-effective performance. The Superintendent will also play a key role in commissioning, startup and long-term operations.

  • Coordinate with leach pad, ADR, maintenance, metallurgy, technical services, finance, safety and environmental teams.
  • Maintain safe, reliable and environmentally compliant plant operations.

  • Participate in recruitment, performance management and employee development.
  • Monitor plant performance, identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to efficiency, availability and equipment utilization.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities, including safe equipment shutdown and preparation.
  • Conduct workplace inspections, reinforce hazard recognition and maintain high housekeeping standards.
  • Develop and improve operating procedures, operational strategies and business plans.
  • Maintain training, performance and operational records and use systems such as SAP for work management and reporting.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Minimum eight years of relevant experience, including leadership within operational teams.
  • Experience with crushers, conveyors, heap leach construction and dust-control systems.
