Shift: M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

About the job: The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading the company's Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy and driving measurable operational results across the organization. This role partners closely with manufacturing and operations leadership to identify opportunities, eliminate waste, improve productivity, and strengthen processes through Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen events, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
This is a highly visible leadership role that focuses on building a culture of continuous improvement while empowering team members at all levels to identify opportunities, solve problems, and implement sustainable solutions. Success in this role will be measured through improvements in productivity, labor efficiency, cycle times, quality, safety, and on-time delivery
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead The company's Continuous Improvement program, ensuring alignment with company goals, strategic initiatives, and operational priorities
- Partner with manufacturing and operations leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement, productivity gains, and cost reduction
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, process improvement workshops, and structured problem-solving initiatives
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and other CI methodologies to drive data-based decision-making and measurable business results
- Analyze current processes, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and develop sustainable solutions that improve operational performance
- Train, coach, and mentor team members on continuous improvement principles, tools, and techniques
- Work hands-on with production teams to implement process changes and reinforce best practices on the manufacturing floor
- Develop communication strategies that build awareness, engagement, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the effectiveness of improvement efforts and overall program success
- Present project updates, results, and recommendations to plant leadership and senior management
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning
- Support all shifts as needed to ensure successful implementation and sustainment of CI initiatives
- Drive labor efficiency improvements through process optimization, workflow design, and strategic capital investment opportunities
- Ensure all improvement activities support ASC's commitments to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
