Job description

  • Job Title: SAP Design to Build - Supply Chain & Manufacturing F-SME
    End Client: Hitachi
  • Duration: Contract, Inabia W2
  • Location: Dublin / Columbus, OH - local candidates strongly preferred
  • Work Arrangement: Onsite for the first 2-3 months, then reduced to monthly or bi-weekly onsite visits
  • Travel: Non-local (traveler) candidates are responsible for their own travel costs

ROLE OVERVIEW
Leads & designs integrated supply chain processes as the functional SME. Serves as the business process expert for Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, Maintenance, or Finance processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as the business process expert for Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, Maintenance, or Finance processes
• Provide detailed knowledge of current business processes, requirements, pain points, and operational challenges
• Participate in process design workshops and evaluate SAP Best Practices
• Review and validate business requirements, functional designs, configuration decisions, and process flows
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, Business Leaders, and Project Teams
• Support data cleansing, testing, defect resolution, UAT, and business process validation
• Assist with change management, business readiness, and training development
REQUIRED SKILLS
• S/4 Finance certification preferred
• 5+ years of expertise in PP, MM, EWM, QM, PM, Logistics, Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management, Manufacturing Execution, SAP Business Network
• Manufacturing industry experience; end-to-end process knowledge
• Knowledge in SAP Signavio and SAP Cloud ALM required
