JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Analyzes statistical control data from machine operators to identify and maintain favorable trends in process and product quality for the plant. Involves process engineering and production supervision as necessary to identify and correct the cause and eliminate/minimize future occurrences.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs BL and pour head calibration along with hand gun and robot wax calibrations
  • Maintain the log book
  • Follow procedures for start up and shut down of equipment
  • Follow daily operating procedures
  • Perform mold temperature audits
  • Maintain pour stream appearance
  • Make adjustments to mix head and transverse according to procedures
  • Clean high pressure mix heads
  • Perform output capability studies
  • Perform daily FTC audits
  • Complete polyol and TDI offloads
  • DMacs operation
  • Adequately perform all requirements of the process technician role
  • Disposition of scrap material and records information into computer daily
  • Assess situations and make necessary decision with management as to whether production should continue when problems surface
  • Must abide by all safety rules and policies and attend required safety training; as well as job rotations with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be willing to report unsafe conditions or unsafe acts and assist plant in achieving safety goals as well as achieving and maintaining objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work 2nd shift (2:30pm - 11pm) plus overtime as needed
  • 2 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
