Weโ€™re looking for a Chemical Process Engineer in Tempe, AZ who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clientsโ€™ business. Join us and youโ€™ll have the chance to work on projects including stateโ€‘ofโ€‘theโ€‘art industrial facilities. Youโ€™ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the clientโ€™s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your multiโ€‘discipline, highly interactive team will establish process design basis, develop process options and optimizations of selected design, and calculate and organize data for process flow sheets. Your role keeps our company connected and weโ€™ll support you with what you need to be successful.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform conceptual and detailed design for advanced manufacturing facilities.
  • Use best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Interface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully coordinated projects.
  • Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.
  • Coordinate on designs with equipment vendors.
  • Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others.
  • Mentor junior and midโ€‘level engineers on basic engineering applications and principles.
  • Participate in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for processโ€‘specific work.

Hereโ€™s what youโ€™ll need
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE), or ability to obtain license within 6 months.
  • At least 8โ€‘10 years of experience in a chemical process engineering role
  • Ability to work onsite (hybrid) in Tempe, AZ

Ideally, youโ€™ll also have:

  • Experience mentoring junior professionals and leading project teams.
  • Understanding of hazardous material storage handling codes and standards.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problemโ€‘solving skills.

The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $145,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including jobโ€‘related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
