Work Shift and Location

Monday - Friday 11am-730pm. This role may require nights, and weekend availability based on business needs.

Job Overview

The Processing Technology Manager plays a key role in executing assigned Processing tasks. This includes planning, directing, and coordinating the work activities and resources necessary for maintaining and improving all ESL, Aseptic, and new pending technology Pasteurized systems including Preventative Maintenance (PM) Programs, equipment rebuilds, technological investigations, operational troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in all troubleshooting / RCA events to drive improvement and provide guidance and teach of processing and leadership teams in all processing functions.
  • Oversee overall maintenance of ESL, Aseptic, and new pending technology Processing Operations for Byrne to increase productivity and equipment capabilities.
  • Coordinates all equipment and system PM's / rebuilds / improvements with Processing operations team.
  • Development and upgrades to PM system for all process systems and ancillary support equipment.
  • Ensures mechanical malfunctions are addressed to increase productivity and equipment capabilities and identifies areas where operators can assist in resolving concerns.
  • Manages the development of Preventative and Predictive Maintenance tasks for processing equipment and monitor completion rates.
  • Ensures Processing department conducts root cause analysis on equipment breakdowns/processing interruptions and review permanent corrective actions with the Maintenance.

Min. Qualifications

  • Minimum of GED or High School Diploma is required, associate or bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in processing; preferably ESL, Aseptic, and/or fresh Grade "A".
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers, instruments and controls required.
