We are currently looking for a Process Engineer for our new factory in Columbus, Ohio.
This production technical engineer develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. Other main responsibilities include: Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze process-related exceptions and technical issues that arise during production, responsible for timely handling and resolution of technical issues to ensure normal operation of production work.
  • Participate in and coordinate activities related to process, materials, equipment, and new product trials on the production line, including data collection, organization, and reporting.
  • Control and improve workshop process indicators such as string repair rate, stacking repair rate, first-pass yield, and hidden crack rate.
  • Lead and establish project work, promote continuous improvement, and reduce costs while increasing efficiency.
  • Coordinate the implementation of work among departments within the workshop, handle workshop-related anomalies, and provide technical support to customers.
  • Lead the analysis of non-conforming products, propose reasonable solutions, and provide timely feedback to relevant departments. Also, supervise the implementation of the solutions in subsequent production.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:
  • Typically Requires a bachelor's degree of engineering.
  • Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Strong Knowledge of production safety required.
  • Knowledge of lean production, production quality.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
