Your primary focus will be on analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions that reduce waste and increase productivity. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain to align process improvements with business objectives. Utilizing advanced process simulation and control techniques, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives that support sustainable manufacturing practices. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to delivering superior consumer products while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance with industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or consumer support environment.
  • Strong knowledge of process simulation tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in process control techniques and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience with statistical analysis software such as Minitab.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working in consumer goods manufacturing or support services.
  • Familiarity with advanced process automation and control systems.
  • Demonstrated success in scrap reduction and waste management projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Conduct process simulations and modeling to predict and enhance process performance.
  • Implement process control strategies to maintain consistent production standards and reduce variability.
  • Analyze production data using statistical tools such as Minitab to identify trends and root causes of scrap or defects.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing operations teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at scrap reduction and waste minimization to support sustainability goals.
  • Document process changes and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Train and support production staff on new processes and best practices to ensure smooth implementation.

Skills:

The required skills such as Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering form the foundation for designing and optimizing manufacturing workflows. Process Simulation and Process Control skills are applied daily to model processes and maintain consistent production quality. Manufacturing Operations knowledge enables effective collaboration with production teams to implement improvements and troubleshoot issues. Scrap Reduction expertise is critical for identifying inefficiencies and driving cost-saving initiatives. Proficiency in Minitab supports data-driven decision-making by analyzing production data to uncover trends and root causes, ensuring continuous process enhancement.
