We're looking for a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Wastewater Group for the summer in our Lenexa, KS office. This internship offers hands-on experience across a variety of water-related infrastructure projects. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers and gain exposure to real-world projects in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

As a Civil Engineer Intern in our Wastewater Group, you'll support the planning, design, and delivery of wastewater collection and treatment projects that improve communities, protect public health, and preserve the environment while learning from experienced engineers invested in your success.
What You'll Do
As a Civil Engineering Intern, you'll:
  • Assist with design and modeling using Civil3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
  • Support quality control processes and follow client design standards.
  • Assist with design calculations and plan development.
  • Participate in field assignments and inspections.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplined design team.
  • Engage in an active learning environment with mentorship from experienced engineers.
What You Bring
  • Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Excel preferred.
  • Minimum 2.7 GPA strongly preferred.
  • Completion of at least two years of coursework.
  • Prior internship or related experience is a plus.
  • Involvement in campus, community, or volunteer organizations.
