Job Summary

A Process Engineer designs, implements, and optimizes manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and/or reduce cost. The Process Engineer analyzes production workflows, identifies bottlenecks, and develops solutions using engineering principles and data analysis. Process engineers also ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, while monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.

On-Site Expectations
  • 100% on-site position.
  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Responsibilities
  • Develop new or modified processes, equipment, and layouts to meet specific production goals.
  • Analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to process performance, equipment malfunctions, and quality control.
  • Machine troubleshooting and problem-solving. When manufacturing issues arise, the process engineer must quickly identify and troubleshoot the problem. This includes understanding root causes, developing potential solutions, and testing these solutions in a safe, controlled environment.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to process performance, identify trends, and generate reports for management.
  • Manage process improvement projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality control, to achieve common goals.
  • Stay informed about the latest technologies and best practices in process engineering to continuously improve processes and ensure the most efficient and effective use of resources.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering degree preferred.
  • Minimum two years of pharmaceutical experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and systems. Knowledge of various manufacturing technologies and equipment.

The noise level that is typical for this position is loud at times when near working equipment.
