Job description

Looking for a co-op student to support the Preconstruction team for 8 months starting September 2026.


  • Record and track the internal and external distribution of project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with the standards of construction designs, drawings and diagrams
  • Maintain spreadsheets and documents in appropriate folders in the system
  • Manage data collection in all required fields for the applicable project documentation
  • Prepare work breakdown structures and quantity takeoffs to assist with estimates
  • Assist in completing performance monitoring for constructability review
  • Prepare the reports, sketches (related with the scope of work) needed to fulfill the requirements of the contract or according to the Ontario standards
  • Support daily and weekly cost tracking and analysis
  • Assist the project manager and construction team reporting when help is needed
  • Perform all other related tasks that will help complete the project

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering or relevant practices
  • Enrolled in an official co-op program
  • Experience in construction and civil engineering is considered an asset
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Bluebeam is considered an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Ability to pay attention to details
  • Ability to work in a team environment
