Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to build and lead a high-performing software development team while serving as the site leader for the Security Management Engineering organization in Puerto Rico.

In this role, you will lead the development of security management software supporting both cloud and on-premises deployments. You will play a key role in scaling the organization, developing talent, and collaborating with globally distributed teams to deliver innovative security solutions.

  • Build and scale a high-performing engineering organization, including hiring and team development.
  • Serve as a site leader for the Puerto Rico Security Management Engineering team.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of people management experience leading software engineering teams within a product development organization.
  • Experience building cloud-based products utilizing microservices architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud applications, platforms, and technologies.
  • Proven success leading and influencing cross-functional teams across multiple geographic regions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing diverse, multicultural teams with an inclusive leadership style.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across a variety of audiences.
  • Proficiency in English; additional local language proficiency is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in cybersecurity, networking security, or Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with shift-left quality methodologies.
  • Experience building software platforms designed for consumption by multiple applications and services.
