LOCATION:

This is onsite Marketing position available for hire at our sites in Grand Island, NY, Waltham, MA, Miami, FL, Hunt Valley, MD, or Morrisville, NC. Residency within commuting distance to any of these sites is required. No relocation assistance will be provided.

DESCRIPTION

How you will make an impact:

Lead Supplements, Production Chemicals and Services (PCS), and Process Liquid Preparation Services (PLPS) marketing as the strategic marketing point of contact. Integrate multiple product/service portfolios, connecting BU priorities to Thermo Fisher's Biological and Chemicals Division (BCD) GTM strategy/priorities. Enable solution selling, product marketing and ensure shared resources are appropriately requested/aligned.

What you will do:

Strategy, planning & prioritization

  • Own annual marketing plan, strategy development and establishing priorities for the Supplements, PCS and PLPS portfolios aligned to BU STRAP and divisional objectives; partner with product and sales stakeholders to set appropriate KPI and performance targets.
  • Partner with Supplements and PCS GM and cross-functional leaders on growth bets
  • Use centralized VOC/MI to inform roadmap and campaigns
  • Identify where execution can be centralized to shared services (~15–20%)
  • Drive resource trade-offs based on impact

Positioning & solution integration

  • Define segmentation, ICPs, positioning, and value propositions for Supplements, PCS and PLPS offerings
  • Ensure messaging aligns to divisional capability narrative
  • Drive collaboration across Protein/Services/Viral/COF sub-portfolios, BCD and BPG

GTM & Sales Enablement

  • Lead GTM planning for NPI launches and key programs
  • Brief shared services on content, demand gen, events, and comms needs
  • Ensure sales readiness needs and priorities are executed and delivered on time

Stakeholder/Team management & results

  • Operate cadence with BU leadership and BCD marketing
  • Track performance and optimize based on data
  • Oversight of marketing strategy execution
  • Manage/mentor direct/indirect reports and external partners

People leadership & talent development

  • Build career paths and competency development across marketing roles
  • Coach team members (Global Marketing Managers)
  • Drive a culture of high performance, accountability and growth mindset

REQUIREMENTS

How you will get here:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Preferred fields of study in Life Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • 7 years of marketing experience in life science, or related industry at a global enterprise level.
  • 3 years of leadership experience in strategic marketing roles
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Experience managing and developing teams

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $119,000.00–$157,100.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
