Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Support the Process Engineering team on programs and special projects as needed. Receive and act on Process Engineering JIRA tickets involving IT & Manufacturing support. Work with Manufacturing and Process Engineering to determine & recommend tools and equipment needs. Provide day to day tool and equipment support to manufacturing. Perform troubleshooting, repair, preventative and general maintenance on production tools and equipment. Create shop floor control system production templates. Provide equipment and manufacturing process training to production personnel as needed. Build and install tools and equipment to support factory requirements. Order parts, tools, equipment, and supplies to support production or special projects Work with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. Document equipment and tool issues, maintenance records, tool logs, asset recording and tracking. Issue and control Asset Tags.
Job Specifications
Education and Work Experience
College/bachelor's degree is preferred. One year or more of experience working in a similar work environment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.) Physical ability to work on and around industrial equipment, including occasional lifting to 50lbs. Analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of manufacturing systems Effective in time management and delegation. Skilled in debugging and root cause analysis
Job Complexity and Supervision
Capable of managing multiple projects. Comfortable in a fast-moving business and team environment. Attention to detail and highly motivated. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
Fast paced work environment Certain areas are considered loud work environments and will require ear protection.
Physical Demands
Extensive use of computer equipment, and frequent telephone activity. Periods of extended sitting, walking, and standing are required. Activities such as bending and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds. Employee must be physically capable of completing and satisfying all training requirements as stipulated by Company policy.
