The group you'll be a part of
In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry.
The impact you'll make
As a Process Technician at Lam, you are a vital part of the team in actively supporting process development, product development, and research and development (R&D). You will set up processing equipment, conduct technical tests and experiments, process test runs, and present findings to optimize yield. Your technical expertise supports process development, contributing to Lam's commitment to innovation.
What you'll do
  • Support Process Engineers in preparation for wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) tests, equipment setup, experiments, data collection, and sample submissions.
  • Operate processing equipment and advanced tools with recipes defined by engineering teams to collect experiment results, capture measurements (e.g. thin film, CD, wafter disposition performance) and chemistry properties analysis.
  • Process test runs and prepare records, charts, and schematics of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield optimization areas.
  • Provide technical assistance to process development teams and process engineers.
  • Assist in technical troubleshooting and improvement opportunities of the application lab tools and experiment setups.

Who we're looking for
  • 4-6 years of related experience.
  • Associates degree in technical field, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in semiconductors, electronics, chemistry, mechanical, or related field.
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment, wearing personal protective safety equipment (PPE), cleanroom suit, or smock.
  • Foundational communication skills, reading and writing, in English.
  • Ability to work a shift schedule.
