Process Technician


Location: Livonia, MI

Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Compensation: $25.00 – $33.00/hour (based on experience)


About the Opportunity


A growing industrial solutions provider is seeking a Process Technician to support manufacturing operations and production planning. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge the gap between engineering, production, and ERP systems—helping ensure jobs are accurately built, tracked, and executed.


You’ll play a key role in translating drawings into production-ready workflows, maintaining data accuracy in the ERP system, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across the shop floor.


What You’ll Do


● Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

● Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the ERP system

● Develop and input job routings including operations, work centers, and estimated times

● Support job creation, release, tracking, and completion within the ERP system

● Monitor job progress and update workflows to align with production status

● Operate, monitor, and support production equipment as needed

● Troubleshoot process issues and assist in resolving production challenges

● Maintain accurate production records including output, downtime, and quality data

● Collaborate with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to resolve discrepancies

● Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency

● Assist with scheduling and production planning activities

● Support audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives


What You Bring


● 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or process-related role

● Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

● Experience with BOM creation, routings, or ERP systems

● Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

● Solid understanding of manufacturing workflows and processes
