Job Description

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Tax Analyst to join our collaborative team via our subsidiary ZT Group Int’l, Inc. This position will report to the Director of Tax Operations of Sanmina Corporation and will interact with other key members of the finance team. This position will be involved in all aspects of the global tax provision and domestic income tax filings, and will play a critical role within the Tax Department.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare/assist with various tax calculations to support the preparation of the quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision
  • Gather/analyze data required to prepare federal and state income tax returns
  • Tax account reconciliations as part of financial statement month-end and quarter-end close process
  • Assist with tax research of Sanmina’s operations in various jurisdictions and analyze information to produce useful data
  • Assist with federal, state and local tax audits and notices
  • Assist with ad hoc tax related projects as necessary
  • SAP data extraction and analyzation as part of provision and compliance work
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or Taxation
  • CPA and/or MST a plus but not required
  • 3-7 years related experience
Skill Requirements
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Critical thinker ready to tackle problems within various areas of the operations and finance organizations
  • Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • SAP experience a plus, but not required
  • OneSource provision software experience a plus but not required

Salary Range (annual) : $85,000.00 - $110,000.00

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
