Description:

The Process Technician is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role works closely with the engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and support the introduction of new equipment and processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cobot welding, tube laser systems, 2D laser cutting, and metal fabrication.

Requirements:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Set up, operate, and troubleshoot cobot welding, tube laser, and 2D laser systems

· Monitor process performance, cycle times, and quality metrics

· Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions

· Support new product launches and equipment commissioning

· Collaborate on improvements to standard work, tooling, and fixtures

· Perform basic program edits and adjustments

· Conduct first-piece inspections

· Train operators on proper setup and operation

· Assist with preventive maintenance activities

· Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety policies

Required Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred

· 2+ years in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

· Experience with cobot welding, tube laser, and 2D laser equipment

· Ability to read blueprints and use inspection tools

· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

· Exposure to a typical manufacturing environment

· Must wear required PPE
