Job description

Overview

We are looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic Keystone team located in Kalamazoo, MI. The Human Resources Coordinator is a motivated self-starter who coordinates training functions, assuring Keystone and regulatory standard records are maintained. 

A successful Human Resources Coordinator must be capable of working with minimal supervision, have a “can do” attitude, possess creative problem-solving skills and be willing to do “whatever it takes” to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively. This team member should have excellent interpersonal skills, great attention to detail and be highly organized with the ability to multi task with minimum interruption to work progress. 

This position will support and coordinate human resources and quality system responsibilities associated with new employee orientations, new employee onboarding training, employee training from initiation to competency, assessment of enterprise training compliance and the record keeping involved with all of the listed responsibilities.

Job Duties

  • Coordinating New Hires
    • Coordinate new hire orientation process
    • Assist in properly introducing new employees to the company culture through new hire orientations
    • Conduct new hire onboarding according to set plans
    • Facilitate onboard training and development
  • Responsible and accountable for oversight of the Keystone QMS training program
    • Coordinating, participating and communicating the training deliverables for all Keystone employees.
    • Ownership and oversight of the Keystone Training Database
    • Ensuring all employees are trained and competent on the appropriate functions
    • Work with Production to ensure appropriately trained individuals are scheduled for specific jobs
    • Maintain the company’s training records
  • Quality Management System (QMS) Support
  • Assist in development of plant SOPs
  • Assist with External Audit through compilation of document requests, responses, etc.
  • Assist with the creation of process documentation
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all Keystone departments
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in working directly with employees.
  • Follow quality systems procedures as required
  • Promote company culture to achieve open communication between employer and employee goals and needs
  • Assist with the planning and coordinating of team building activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • Associates Degree with a minimum of 1 year experience in a related field OR High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field
  • Customer Service experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working directly with employees
  • Strong communication, problem solving and program management skills.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, sometimes requiring extended work hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays to ensure minimal interruption to production. The work environment for this position will be both an office environment and manufacturing work cells and cleanroom environments.
