Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Electromechanical Technicians for an immediate 2–4 week engagement supporting a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing team in South San Francisco. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building electrical and mechanical assemblies and is comfortable working from engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation.


Responsibilities

  • Cable & Wire Harness Manufacturing: Build, crimp, terminate, route, and assemble custom electrical cables and wire harnesses using engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and pinout documentation.
  • Electrical Assembly: Assemble and wire electrical enclosures, control panels, PCBs, power distribution units, sensors, and related electrical subassemblies.
  • Mechanical Assembly: Assemble precision mechanical structures, linear actuators, frames, brackets, motion-control components, and other electromechanical hardware using hand tools, power tools, and torque equipment.
  • Inspection & Quality Control: Perform visual inspections, cable continuity and basic hipot testing, dimensional checks, and mechanical tolerance verification before final integration.
  • Documentation & Workmanship: Follow assembly procedures, maintain high-quality workmanship, and identify and communicate assembly or quality issues as they arise.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on electromechanical assembly experience, ideally in robotics, aerospace, medical devices, automation, or a similar precision manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical assembly prints.
  • Proficiency with cable crimping, soldering, terminal termination, wire routing, and harness assembly.
  • Experience with precision mechanical assembly and torque-controlled fastening.
  • Comfortable using multimeters, wire strippers, crimping tools, calipers, micrometers, and other electrical/mechanical hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, safety, and workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineers and other technicians.
