Job description

PRO SHOP ASSOCIATE
Position Summary
Under the direction of the pro shop coordinator, responsible for the sale of pro shop items, collection of fees, registration of players and the assigning of tee times for golfers. These essential functions and responsibilities work in accordance with the mission and vision of Raven Rock Golf Course.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Duties shall include but not be limited to:
  • Answer telephone, record incoming calls, and take starting time reservations
  • Register players and assign them their tee time, making sure all golfers sign daily register
  • Collect all money for green fees, programs, rental, and pro shop sales. Issue receipts for all transactions
  • Maintain general order and cleanliness in the pro shop
  • Maintain daily records and reports
  • Remain courteous with patrons at all times
  • Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments
Work Environment: Physical Demands
  • Requires grasping, standing, walking, bending, climbing and other repetitive motions
  • Must be able to exert and lift 20 – 40 lbs of force occasionally and 10 – 25 lbs more frequently. May have to lift 100 lbs occasionally
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch frequently
