Warehouse Associate (Material Handler I) – Grand Rapids, MI

Location: Grand Rapids, MI 49512
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | No Overtime Required

About the Role

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Associate (Material Handler I) to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. This position plays a key role in inventory management, material handling, and supporting production through efficient use of ERP systems. Ideal candidates will have hands-on warehouse experience and familiarity with ERP platforms.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support receiving, stockroom, and shipping operations.

  • Pull, issue, and transfer materials accurately for production.

  • Receive incoming materials from vendors and process in the ERP system.

  • Process receipt and shipment of repair units and finished goods.

  • Verify counts, serial numbers, documentation, and shipping details.

  • Generate and validate invoices using MFG PRO, EDGE, and document systems.

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas following all safety protocols.

  • Handle and ship hazardous materials per required labeling and documentation procedures.


Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • 1+ year of experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing.

  • ERP system experience required (Oracle, SAP, or similar).
