Job description

On Deck Deliveries is in search of White Glove Pro Drivers who embody our principle of being the "Hardest Worker In The Room." This role is crucial for ensuring timely, safe, and customer-focused delivery services. Our Delivery Drivers are the backbone of our operation, responsible for not just transporting items, but also for assembly, installation, and maintaining the highest levels of customer service.

Qualifications
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check, MVR, DOT Physical and drug screen
  • Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy items 100+ pounds.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Two years delivery experience
  • Must have a smartphone
  • Ability to use smart phone or device for routing and electronic proof of deliveries (PODs)
  • Be committed to ongoing training to improve processes
Responsibilities
  • Conduct a thorough pre-trip inspection of your vehicle before departure to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Provide outstanding service to customers, exceeding their expectations with every delivery.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and driving regulations while efficiently navigating to destinations.
  • Skillfully assemble and install delivered items at customer locations, when required.
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs, condition reports, PODs and customer signatures.
  • Ensure all items are properly scanned and delivered within the specified Service Level Agreements.
  • Maintain up-to-date logbooks and comply with all transportation regulations.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Actively participate in all training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring safe transport of items.
  • Handle returns and repackaging tasks as required.
  • Manage and dispose of any delivery-related debris in a responsible manner.
  • Serve as the primary point of communication with customers during deliveries, providing updates and answering queries.
