Job description

At PRO CHEM INC, we've been helping businesses across the U.S. keep their facilities running smoothly for over 50 years by supplying high quality, environmentally friendly industrial maintenance products that are essential to a variety of industries.
We are currently seeking a full-time, entry-level Outside Sales Representative to cover our Dayton, Ohio territory. We'll teach you the products, the industry and offer sales support--you'll bring the drive to win business and build a book of repeat customers.
What You'll Do
  • Hunt for new business opportunities: prospect, develop and follow-up on leads to grow your territory's revenue.
  • Build relationships with repeat customers through visits, calls, and emails.
  • Train on our products amp; the industries we serve in order to provide customer-based solutions.
  • Manage your own territory, schedule, and sales plan - your success is in your hands.
  • Enter orders and track activity through our digital systems.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience where you were able to influence or lead a process, upsell, and/or close business.
  • A true hunter mentality - driven, competitive, and resilient.
  • Solid time-management, planning, and presentation skills amp; the self-discipline to efficiently run a sales territory independently.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 products; Netsuite experience is a bonus.
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and MVR check; must live in or near sales territory and have a reliable vehicle.
