Job Opportunity – Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist – Georgia

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment; every other weekend required; 10 call days per month; average daily caseload of 8-10 procedures across 3 rooms with 5 beds

Highlights:

  • Perform diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella placement, and device implants
  • Work with adult to geriatric patient population in a high-volume, advanced cardiac care environment
  • Utilize Epic charting system (required) and GE Discovery imaging equipment
  • Collaborate with an experienced team in a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab
  • Maximum 7 days of requested time off permitted during assignment
  • Floating may be required within department, facility, or to sister campus

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
  • Active Georgia or Compact state nursing/technologist license
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV
  • Demonstrated experience with GE Discovery system, IABP, Impella, and CSI technology
  • Proficiency in Epic EMR (required); Merge system experience preferred
  • Strong skills in EKG interpretation, obtaining vitals, sinus node rhythms; pacemaker experience preferred
  • Full compliance documentation required prior to start date to avoid delays
