Job description

Private Security Plus is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Business Development Representative to help expand our commercial security services throughout the Bay Area.

This is a performance-based, commission-only sales opportunity with uncapped earning potential. It is best suited for someone who is confident prospecting, building relationships, and developing their own book of business.


What You'll Do

  • Identify and prospect new commercial clients
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and in-person prospecting
  • Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, construction companies, commercial real estate professionals, HOAs, and other decision-makers
  • Identify opportunities for security guard, mobile patrol, fire watch, and security camera monitoring services
  • Schedule meetings and site walks with prospective clients
  • Work with our operations and management teams to develop proposals and pricing
  • Follow up on proposals and move opportunities through the sales process
  • Maintain relationships with clients and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts
  • Track leads, opportunities, and follow-up activity in our CRM


What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with cold calling and outbound prospecting
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Persistent and organized with follow-up
  • B2B sales experience preferred
  • Experience in security, commercial real estate, property management, construction, facilities, or another service-based industry is a plus
  • Existing relationships with commercial property decision-makers are a major plus


Compensation

This is a commission-only position with uncapped earning potential.

Compensation is directly tied to the accounts and revenue you generate. Successful representatives have the opportunity to build recurring commissions as they develop their portfolio of clients.
