Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - 1:1 Home and School-Based Care

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide 1:1 behavioral support for clients in home and/or school settings. This rewarding role allows you to make a direct difference in the lives of children and adolescents by helping them develop communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral skills that promote independence and success.

Working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement individualized treatment plans and support clients in achieving meaningful goals in their daily environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services in home and/or school settings.

• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies designed by a BCBA.

• Assist clients in developing communication, social, academic, self-help, and daily living skills.

• Collect and record accurate data regarding client progress and behavioral outcomes.

• Reinforce positive behaviors using evidence-based ABA techniques.

• Collaborate with caregivers, teachers, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain professional and therapeutic relationships with clients and families.

• Report significant changes, concerns, or incidents to supervising clinicians.

• Comply with all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Health, or a related field preferred.

• Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or developmental disabilities preferred.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently while following clinical guidance.

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations as needed.

• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

• Ability to pass background screening and state-required clearances.
