Location: Northern Colorado

Compensation: $19.00 – 19.50/hour (based on site assignment)

Position Type: Temporary/Seasonal (May 1 – November 1, with potential extension)

Schedule: Variable shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays

About the Role

Precision Security Team is hiring Seasonal Unarmed Security Guards to support increased coverage needs during peak seasons, community events, and temporary assignments throughout Northern Colorado.


Seasonal guards maintain a professional security presence, help ensure the safety of assigned properties and events, and assist with incident response and reporting.


This role is ideal for individuals seeking temporary or supplemental work, students, retirees, or professionals interested in gaining experience in the security field.


Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible security presence at assigned sites or events
  • Monitor property activity and conduct foot patrols as required
  • Respond to incidents and assist with conflict de-escalation when needed
  • Write clear, accurate incident and activity reports
  • Communicate effectively with clients, the public, and supervisors
  • Use technology efficiently (smartphones, reporting tools, scheduling software)
  • Conduct metal detection wanding, bag checks, and I.D. checks upon completion of training
  • Represents PST with professionalism, integrity, and accountability

Minimum Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Customer service experience required
  • Previous security experience preferred, but not required
  • Military or law enforcement background encouraged

  • Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening as applicable
  • CPR certified (or willing to complete provided training)
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Able to stand or walk for up to 8-12 hours at a time
  • Able to complete company defensive tactics orientation
  • Strong communication and situational awareness
