Job description

Our client, a rapidly growing financial services firm headquartered in Dallas is seeking a Senior Fund Controller to join its Real Estate Fund team. This opportunity has opened due to new business and expansion, offering high visibility and a direct reporting line to senior leadership.

This role is ideal for professionals with a background in private equity, real estate funds, partnership accounting, or financial services—especially those coming from public accounting.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage a team of fund accounting professionals
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing technical guidance on private equity fund accounting and financial reporting
  • Oversee financial statement preparation and capital activity (calls, distributions, valuations)
  • Review and interpret legal and fund documentation within a US GAAP framework
  • Identify and implement process improvements using fund accounting systems (Investran preferred)
