At Allvue, we are building the next generation of data and analytics products for private markets. Our platform leverages directly sourced private credit and private equity data to deliver benchmarks, performance insights, credit signals, and actionable intelligence to financial institutions, GPs, LPs, banks, and financial information providers.

We are seeking a Product Manager with deep private markets expertise and strong familiarity with Allvue’s platform, data architecture, and workflows. This role will lead the definition, integration, and commercialization of private market data and analytics products across private credit and private equity.

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, private markets domain expertise, partnerships, and Allvue’s internal data platform.

Responsibilities

A central focus of the role is twofold:

  • Partnering with financial information providers (FIPs), banks, and strategic partners to help them understand the value of Allvue’s private markets datasets and enable joint analytics, benchmarking, and signal-driven solutions.
  • Working internally across Allvue’s product, data, and engineering teams to embed those joint solutions back into Allvue’s workflows across Portfolio Management, Investment Accounting, and Fund Accounting.

Objectives of the Role:

  • Define and own private markets data products spanning private credit and private equity.
  • Drive asset-level and fund-level analytics including covenant intelligence, performance benchmarking, valuation insights, liquidity analytics, and credit event signals.
  • Partner with financial information providers and strategic clients to shape joint solutions powered by Allvue’s datasets.
  • Translate external partnership requirements into structured product specifications aligned with Allvue’s Enterprise Data Platform.
  • Ensure data products are commercially viable, differentiated, and aligned with Allvue’s roadmap and monetization strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and requirements for private markets data and analytics products.
  • Serve as product lead in external engagements, clearly articulating the value of Allvue’s private credit and private equity datasets.
  • Define integration models including data feeds, APIs, Snowflake shares, and embedded analytics use cases.
  • Translate partnership discussions into clear, production-ready specifications for engineering and data teams.
  • Define and standardize core metrics across asset-level and fund-level data, including:
    • Credit events (principal changes, accrual changes, restructurings, amendments, covenant breaches)
    • Financial performance metrics (EBITDA, leverage, coverage, IRR, TVPI, DPI, RVPI)
    • Valuation marks and exposure tracking
  • Shape benchmark methodologies across sectors, strategies, deal sizes, geographies, and capital structures.
  • Evaluate data coverage, lineage, mastering logic, and confidence scoring to ensure datasets are integration-ready.
  • Work closely with Allvue’s Portfolio Management, Investment Accounting, and Fund Accounting teams to ensure consistent modeling across credit and equity workflows.
  • Support commercial discussions by clearly explaining methodology, differentiation, and data rights in partner and client meetings.

Requirements
  • The ideal candidate understands private markets data at both the asset and fund level and has hands-on experience navigating Allvue’s data structures, financial models, and client workflows.
  • 5+ years of product management experience in private markets (private credit and/or private equity).
  • Strong understanding of both asset-level and fund-level data structures.
  • Direct experience working with Allvue’s platform, including familiarity with Portfolio Management, Investment Accounting, or Fund Accounting modules.
  • Deep understanding of private credit structures (senior secured, unitranche, second lien, mezzanine, NAV lending) and private equity fund structures.
  • Familiarity with performance metrics such as IRR, TVPI, leverage ratios, EBITDA adjustments, accruals, and valuation marks.

  • Experience working with financial information providers, data vendors, or strategic external partners.
  • Comfort operating in SQL-based environments and modern cloud data platforms.
  • Ability to bring structure and prioritization to complex, multi-source datasets.
