Description

RRM Design Group is currently seeking a full-time Senior Landscape Architect to join our Landscape Architecture team!


If you have experience working on public and private sector projects and have been part of a landscape architecture team or a multidisciplinary firm, this opportunity could be a great fit. As a Senior Landscape Architect, you'll collaborate with team members across our various RRM office locations, contributing to a diverse range of projects.


The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams, is committed to producing high-quality work, and has strong project team management skills. In this role, you'll contribute to all phases of the design process from conceptual design through construction documentation and assist in preparing presentation graphics, site plans, and technical documents.



YOUR ROLE LOOKS LIKE:

  • Providing overall project management and project team coordination
  • Working on Bay Area public realm projects, including park master plans and design
  • Monitoring and tracking project progress, invoicing, and budgets
  • Preparing designs and components of the design
  • Communicating effectively and proactively with peers, employees, and management
  • Presenting at public hearings, workshops, and meetings
  • Preparation of fee proposals and scopes of work
  • Supervising and mentoring emerging staff
  • Interacting with clients and representing RRM in a professional and courteous manner


Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture.
  • Valid California Landscape Architect license.
  • 7-10 years of experience in landscape architecture, with substantial experience as a consultant in a private consulting firm setting
