Job description

Client Advisory Services Associate

We are looking for an Associate to join KMH Solutions. Through the services that we offer our clients including, client accounting and advisory services, litigation consulting, and business process improvement, KMH Solutions provides opportunities for you to develop and grow in a rewarding consulting environment that is focused on helping Hawaii-based organizations solve their business problems.

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Performs assigned tasks in the technical areas of an engagement or project to assist in providing accounting and advisory services to clients in a variety of industries.
  • Contributes to engagement planning and project management to ensure that services and delivered products meet client expectations and KMH firm standards.

Qualifications:

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Willing and able to learn new skills and concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or other accounting software, a plus.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting; or 24 semester hours of accounting classes or commensurate experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience in public or private accounting.
