Apple's IT Governance & Planning team is seeking a hands-on privacy professional to drive global Privacy initiatives across Apple's IS&T organization. We have built a very special team that drives these initiatives and standards across various information technology functions, including core business applications such as Apple online store, Apple retail stores, AppleCare, HR systems, engineering systems, and many others. This is an extraordinary opportunity for the right candidate seeking to drive operational and strategic excellence in Apple's IT governance processes.
This is a high-visibility role that will drive execution of privacy programs, ensure compliance with global data protection regulations, and partner cross-functionally to embed privacy-by-design into products and processes. You will establish Privacy standards and help drive metrics and projects to assess the privacy posture. You should be ready to lead and to drive projects, audits, and assessments, bring operational efficiencies, develop strong working relationships, and most importantly, be a teammate. Dynamic, smart people and inspiring, innovative technologies are the norm here.
5+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or related program/project management rolesStrong understanding of global privacy regulationsExperience managing cross-functional projects and working with distributed teamsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent stakeholder management abilitiesBachelor's of Science in Information Systems, Security, or Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of data security principles and risk management frameworksKnowledge of global AI regulatory obligationsKnowledge of EU privacy lawsExcellent communicationAbility to balance legal/compliance requirements with business needsExperience in technology, SaaS, AI frameworks
