Temporary FP&A Manager (Supply Chain Finance) - Contract
Location: Bridgewater, NJ (flexible - onsite, hybrid, or fully remote) Duration: 6-Month Contract (Medical Leave Coverage) Compensation: $40-$50/hour
Overview
We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to support a supply chain finance function on a temporary basis. This role will partner closely with finance and operations leadership to deliver insights into cost of goods sold (COGS), gross margin, and manufacturing performance across multiple sites. This is a high-impact role requiring strong analytical capabilities and the ability to manage large data sets from multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for supply chain and manufacturing operations
  • Perform detailed gross margin and COGS analysis, identifying key drivers and actionable insights
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data from multiple manufacturing sites to support decision-making
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, and finance leadership
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support performance tracking and forecasting
  • Provide clear and concise reporting packages and presentations to senior leadership
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to production costs, inventory, and operational efficiency
  • Support ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of FP&A experience, with a focus on supply chain, operations, or manufacturing finance
  • Experience with COGS, gross margin analysis, and operational financial reporting
  • Background in manufacturing or CPG industry required (pharma preferred)
  • Proven ability to work with large, complex data sets across multiple business units or locations
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling, data analysis)
  • Experience with ERP and financial planning systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, etc. preferred)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with and present to leadership
  • Ability to ramp quickly and operate in a fast-paced, interim environment
