Job description

Nationally recognized Heart Institute in Northeast Tennessee Looking to Add an Interventional Cardiologist to The Team

 

Position:

  • Physician led group with 45 physicians, 40 Advance Practice Providers, covering 14 hospitals
  • This location would be joining 2 general, 1 invasive, 5 interventional cardiologists, with APPs and vascular surgeon support
  • Shared STEMI call of 1:6 and general call of 1:4
  • Cath lab performs coronary interventions, STEMI PCIs, traditional and leadless pacemaker implants, CardioMems implants, ASD/PFO closures, and PV interventions including EVAR and arterial venous thrombectomy, and does all noninvasive lab tests
  • Cardiology team focuses on general cardiology, advanced CHF treatment, pacemaker implantation, structural heart disease, interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular disease, and advanced imaging with CT and Nuclear stress test capabilities, with Opportunities in cardiac catheterization, coronary angiography, and more
  • Renovated Outpatient clinic has 20 exam rooms, Pritikin Intensive Cardiac Rehab site, with all GE, Phillips, Impella, and IABP equipment

  • Group employment 2 years, Junior Partner, with Base salary
