Job description

Engineer III

Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 4361 Irwin Simpson Road, Mason, OH 45040.

This role requires associates to be in-office 3-4 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Engineer III is responsible for delivering end-to-end system development and maintenance on complex technology systems within the assigned client group, business unit, or corporate department.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Develop on medium to large complex customer technology platforms or architectures.
  • Maintain active relationships with internal and/or external stakeholders to develop business requirements.
  • Analyze and classify complex change requests and identify and document possible system code enhancements.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of industry trends, our products, and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineers and graphic designers, analyze and classify complex change requests, and review and evaluate possible enhancements.
  • Work with Development team to develop and define application scope and objectives, and prepare functional and/or technical specifications.
  • Analyze and evaluate detailed business and technical requirements.
  • Understand the product and analytics and drive requirements that take into account stakeholders' needs. Identify problems/risks.
  • Code and maintain complex components of information systems.
  • Mentor others on coding standards and perform code reviews.
  • Review test cases and advise QA on adjacent code/regression impact.
  • Develop and perform system testing, fix defects identified during testing, and re-execute unit tests to validate results.
  • Aid in integrating activities with other IT departments for successful implementation and support of project efforts.
  • Provide on-call support, monitor the system, and identify system deficiencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
  • Three (3) years of Information Technology (IT) experience, or related.

Experience Requirements:

  • Three (3) years of required Information Technology (IT), or related experience must include:
    • Python;
    • AWS cloud services;
    • CloudFormation;
    • Terraform;
    • Agile methodologies;
    • .NET;
    • GitHub;
  • Relational databases such as:
    • Oracle;
    • Selenium testing framework;
    • Web Technologies such as: ReactJS, Json Web Token.

Alternative Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Employer will accept Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study and one (1) year of Information Technology (IT) experience, or related. Must have skills listed above.
