Job description

Principal Manufacturing is seeking a Finblank Press Operator to join our team in Broadview, IL. As a leader in fineblanking, conventional stamping and plastic injection molding, Principal Manufacturing sets itself above the competition.

The Press Operator will Setting up and operating conventional/fineblank stamping equipment's and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload parts on machinery and maintain and or clean equipment according to Company standards.
  • Examine parts to identify defects and variations from blueprints and ensure Quality approves the first piece inspection for production.
  • Operate and adjust equipment to maintain proper work procedures.
  • Report accurate production information to supervisor and in Plex (ERP System.
  • Maintain and efficiently perform production assignment/ expectations from Supervisor within allotted time period per the production schedule, while following work instructions.
  • Maintaining lean concepts while looking for continuous improvement.
  • In absence of the material handler load and unload coils for production

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent education/certification
  • Demonstrated ability to read measuring equipment i.e. calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Understands necessary tools and instructions to ensure quality of work.
  • Demonstrate basic mathematical skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
