1st Shift
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Job description:
We are seeking a Brake Press Operator for our fast paced Aerospace manufacturing facility in Long Beach. Only experienced candidates in the field of Aerospace Sheet Metal forming will be considered.

Job Functions:
  • Mainly knows how to operate conventional brake press machines with materials such as aluminum, stainless, titanium and Inconel.
  • Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as shears, hydro-presses, drills, grinders and mill machines.
  • Hand form, check and straighten using form blocks.
  • Trims, grinds, debur, buffs and smooth surfaces to specifications.
  • Assemble components with rivets, nut-plates sealants.
  • Ability to read blueprints and comprehend product drawings.
  • Inspect utilizing calipers, micrometers, and height gages.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED minimum.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an Aerospace / Manufacturing or related industry.
  • Able to work in a fast paced work setting.
  • Must have aerospace, job-shop experience.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be physically fit to perform work duties.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus.
Only candidates with experience will be considered, pay is based on experience level.
