Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
This is a finance position that is responsible for salvaging, recouping and repacking products.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess and sort all damaged products for recouping.
  • Collaborate directly with warehouse management to control shrink.
  • Cooperate indirectly with merchandising to ensure proper packaging from vendors.
  • Assist with developing a reconciliation program.
  • Work with inventory control to assist in reducing company shrink.
  • Keep the area clean and neat at all times.


QUALIFICATIONS
Education

  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent preferred.


Experience

  • 1-3 months of related warehouse distribution experience preferred.


Requirements

  • 18+ years of age
  • Pass employment testing


Professional Skills

  • Able to read, write and communicate effectively, as it relates to the job and the safety regulations.
  • Can read a limited number of two and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
  • Able to print and speak simple sentences.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Capable of applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
